Every flight met
Arrivals at Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS) run as one operation, however many flights the group is on. Each guest knows before they fly who is meeting them. Departures are planned the same way.
Mandara Bali provides destination management and ground operations for retreats, companies, groups and travel partners throughout Bali. You bring the people and the purpose. We connect them to the island.

Mandara Bali is a full-service destination management company (DMC) working in every part of Bali, Indonesia, wherever a group is staying or travelling. Our office is in Ubud. We run the ground side of group travel: arrivals and departures, transportation, experiences, dining, coordination with venues and accommodation, and the logistics that hold a trip together.
We work with our own drivers, and the group has one Mandara Bali contact throughout. No handoffs between companies on the ground, and no one to chase.
Mandara Bali was founded by Chandra Sahadewa, who was born and raised in Bali and leads ground operations himself.
Every group gets a plan built around its dates, size and program. These are the parts of the ground operation we handle.

Private cars and Toyota HIACE or HIACE Premio vans, sized to the group and the day. Daily venue transport, transfers between areas, and full days on the road.
Rice terraces, water temples, waterfalls, craft villages and cultural visits, timed around ceremonies and crowds rather than a tourist route sheet.
Restaurant bookings for the whole group, with dietary needs sent ahead, at places that suit the size and feel of the group.
We work with your venue and accommodation on arrival times, transport schedules and moves between properties, so the hand-offs between them don't fall to the organizer.
One Mandara Bali contact for the organizer and the group throughout the stay. Delayed flights, closed roads and changed plans are re-coordinated without the group feeling it.
Yoga teachers, wellness practitioners, coaches, facilitators, community leaders and creators bringing a group to Bali. You lead the retreat; we connect you to Bali.
Offsites, leadership retreats and incentive trips, planned with executive assistants, people teams and founders who need arrivals, transport, dinners and activities handled by one local partner.
Multi-generation family trips, friend groups, clubs, associations and educational groups who want to see Bali together without one person becoming the trip's full-time coordinator.
Companies that curate the trip and often travel with it. You keep the client and the program; we manage the on-island operation in Indonesia as your Bali ground partner.
A destination management company is a local operator that runs the ground side of a trip in its own destination: transport, arrivals and departures, activities, dining, coordination with venues and accommodation, and on-the-ground support while the group is there. A DMC is based where the trip happens, so it works from local knowledge and its own team rather than from a booking screen.
In Bali, most of the work is movement and timing. A Bali DMC meets every arrival at Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS), moves the group between areas whose drive times change with traffic and ceremonies, books group dinners at restaurants that are often small, plans excursion days around temple ceremonies and crowds, and absorbs changes such as delayed flights or closed roads without the group feeling them.
Mandara Bali does this with its own drivers, coordinated from Ubud by one team.
A travel agent sells and books travel, usually flights, hotels and packages, often from outside the destination. A retreat planner or event planner designs the program and looks after the client relationship. A DMC runs the trip on the ground in the destination.
They work together rather than compete. A retreat planner or travel company keeps the client and the program; Mandara Bali handles what happens once the group lands in Bali.
For a couple travelling alone, usually not. Once you have a group arriving on several flights, staying in more than one place, or moving around the island on a schedule, a local ground team saves the organizer a great deal of coordination and removes most of the risk of things going wrong on the day. The larger the group and the tighter the program, the more a DMC is worth.
Yes. We work as the Bali ground partner for organizations that bring their own groups: travel companies, retreat organizers and agents who curate the trip and often travel with it. They stay the group's main contact; we manage the on-island operation in Indonesia.
Transport is charged at our published rates: a private car with driver is $36 for a half day (5 hours) or $72 for a full day (10 hours); a Toyota HIACE is $179 and a HIACE Premio $225 for a full day. Time beyond the booked hours is 10% of the rate per hour. Prices are in USD, as of October 2026.
For groups, we usually quote one per-person, per-day rate covering the ground operation for the whole stay, so the organizer has a single number to plan around.
All of Bali. Our office is in Ubud, and we work wherever your group is staying or travelling: the Bukit Peninsula (Uluwatu, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua), the south coast (Seminyak, Canggu, Sanur), and the highlands and east (Sidemen, Munduk, Kintamani, Amed).
Mandara Bali was founded by Chandra Sahadewa, who was born and raised in Bali and leads ground operations from Ubud. He selects and works with the drivers personally. The company is PT Asta Mandara Nusantara, operating as Mandara Bali.
Your dates, group size, where you're staying and what the program looks like are enough to start. From there we build the ground plan, price it, and confirm exactly what we're responsible for before anyone flies.
Dates, numbers, arrival airport and flights if known, accommodation or area, and the shape of the program.
Arrivals, daily movements, excursion days and dinners, with drive times and buffers set by people who make these journeys every week.
A written scope of what Mandara Bali handles and one clear price, confirmed before the trip.
One contact from the first arrival to the last departure, reachable by WhatsApp or email throughout.
